Nosaprise

The Sindicate was founded on the idea that hip hop and punk rock are essentially the same. The cores of each separate identity are made up of similar elements, and their respective audience members have epic BFF potential.

When it comes down to it, greatness in ideas, music, art, and culture develop when the two paths cross. We brought a few seemingly mismatched genres to this episode’s playlist, and a conversation with Nosaprise, a rapper from Houston, TX, tied it all together. His music is so stylistically diverse that even a casual listener would notice the range in influences. You can hear the size of his heart, and there’s room for anything authentic.

Nosa joined us fresh off the SXSW grind, and we listened to a couple of songs off of his soon-to-be released EP called Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades.
